To provide safety, shelter, food, clothing, crisis counseling, referral and advocacy for those impacted by family abuse or in crisis.
Lead by our Chief Executive Officer, Wanda McGinnis, we have over 20 caring and trained staff members who are committed to helping rebuild lives affected by family abuse. Rounding out the team are our dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents in many ways to help the Shelter run smoothly.
Our volunteer Board of Directors provide strategic direction to the organization. The 2016-2017 Board members are:

Any individual over the age of 18 may become a member of the Society upon payment of the annual membership fee ($75) and the application is approved by the Board of Directors. Wheatland Crisis Society staff may not be Society members. Annual memberships are not sold one month prior to and one month following the Society’s Annual General Meeting which is usually held annually in June.
