“Be the difference if you can” – Emma Moore
She wants to help people in her community. And she is. Emma Moore (11) of Strathmore collected purses and generous donors helped to fill them with goodies like gift cards for moms in the Shelter just in time for Mother’s Day. We are grateful to be chosen for Em’s Purse Project and our moms were delighted to receive these thoughtful gifts. As Em would say, “Be the difference if you can”. We agree.
Home Hardware Donates 30+ Gallons of Paint
Thanks Strathmore Home Hardware for their donation of more than 30 gallons of paint and paint supplies used to freshen up the interior of the Shelter (Randy’s paint consultation was a much appreciated bonus!). Long-term community partners like HH are invaluable to complete unfunded projects like this.
Walmart Donates $1,000
We love it when employees and companies come together to give back to their community. That’s what Walmart did when their Strathmore Associates raised $500 and the company matched it. That $1,000 will go a long way towards helping families in our care purchase items to build towards their future. Thanks Walmart!
