To provide safety, shelter, food, clothing, crisis counseling, referral and advocacy for those impacted by family abuse or in crisis.
Our Team
We have over 20 caring and trained staff members who are committed to helping rebuild lives affected by family abuse. Rounding out the team are our dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents in many ways to help the Shelter run smoothly.

Board of Directors
The WCS Board of directors and staff are pleased to welcome Carol Manson McLeod as the interim CEO of the Wheatland Crisis Society. Membership
Any individual over the age of 18 may become a member of the Society upon payment of the annual membership fee ($75) and the application is approved by the Board of Directors. Wheatland Crisis Society staff may not be Society members. Annual memberships are not sold one month prior to and one month following the Society’s Annual General Meeting which is usually held annually in June.

2022 – 2027 Strategic Plan
The 2022-27 Strategic Plan was guided by a number of key principles and factors. At the base of all of the work and deliberations undertaken by the Board and Leadership of the Wheatland Crisis Society (WCS) is the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.
